Department of Physical Therapy

Anatomy Lab
The focus of this lab is an in-depth study and analysis of the regional and systemic organization of the body. Emphasis is placed upon the structure and function of human movement. A comprehensive study of human anatomy with emphasis on the nervous, musculoskeletal, and circulatory systems is incorporated. Introduction to general anatomy lays the foundation of the course. Identification of structures is supplemented with the study of charts, models, prosecuted materials, and radiographs are utilized to identify anatomical landmarks of the human body.

We have an immense collection of anatomical models of bones demonstrating detailed structures, models of ligaments and tendons, models of muscles representing origin and insertion, models of joint, heart, liver, kidney, eye, intestines, gallbladder, and complete skeleton demonstrating 206 bones in the body which helps students in learning.

Physiology lab
Physiology is an experimental scientific discipline and is of central importance in medicine and related health sciences. It provides a thorough understanding of normal body function, enabling more effective treatment of abnormal or disease states. Study the fundamental concepts of human physiology—including reproductive, neural, muscular, cardiovascular, respiratory, renal, endocrine, and sensory systems—using hands-on experiments and computer simulations. Human physiology lab equipment, suitable for investigating and recording a number of physiology laboratory lessons on human subjects.

Kit contains: Respiratory Belt Transducer, Grip Force Transducer (DIN) Cardio Microphone, and Sphygmomanometer with 3 Cuffs, Push Button Switch, Dry Earth Strap, and Tendon Hammer.

Kinesiology Lab

The focus of this lab is to define and study the scope of kinesiology and to study its application. Students can learn the types of human motions as well as planes and relative axis of motion. It also explains the inter-relationship among kinematic variables and utilizes this knowledge to describe and analyze motion. This lab helps students to study the classification of the joints and muscles along with their distinguishing characteristics; group action of muscles arthrokinematics and osteokinematics of human movement. Equipment’s includes walking aids (crutches, walkers, and frames), treadmill, cycle, wedges, and many more

Biochemistry Lab

The focus of the biochemistry lab is to study the scope of biochemistry and prepare all the different solutions. This lab has all the latest equipment to study biochemistry. Students can learn different types of preparation biochemical diagnosis, detection of biomolecules, solution preparations, and learning about medical equipment in labs. Different equipment includes a dropper, pear-shaped flask, cannula, Acid burette, etc.

Pathology Lab

This lab is designed to study the function of the human body at the molecular, cellular, and tissue levels. This lab contains different types of microscopes and the latest diagnostic equipment to study normal and disease-causing agents. Students can study different types of bacteria, fungi, viruses, and many microscopic organisms.

Electrotherapy Lab

Electrotherapy labs plays important role in physical therapy institutions. This lab includes different types of devices that are used for the treatment of patients with musculoskeletal disorders, neuromuscular disorders, Pediatrics physical therapy, geriatrics, etc. Use of electrical currents in different ways and modes, frequencies applying on the treatment area, also heat and radiation therapy includes in this lab characterized as IRR therapy, ultrasounds, ultraviolet, etc. Also involves cry therapy as well in this lab.
