SCPT was established in 2012 with only goal to provide an excellent educational environment to students of Sialkot for their professional studies and grooming. Situated in the heart of the city, Sialkot College of Physical therapy has a well-equipped purpose built campus with an exuberant environment, rendering it among one of the finest colleges of the locality.
In the year 2012, University of Sargodha (UOS) offered the invitation to apply for the affiliation of 5-years Doctor of Physical therapy (DPT) program. Therefore, application was submitted to UOS with the name of Sialkot College of Physical Therapy (SCPT) for the affiliation. The application was accepted and UOS granted affiliation for five (05) year DPT program. For the initiation of classes one floor of the hospital was reserved. Later on, we were able to offer more programs related to IT field.
Currently, we are offering 4 undergraduate degree programs including Bachelors of Business Administration (BBA), BS Computer Sciences (BS-CS), BS Information Technology (BS-IT) and M.Sc Information Technology(M.Sc -IT)

Dr. Ijaz Amin is the Principal at Sialkot College of Physical Therapy and consultant orthopedic surgeon at Amin Medical Complex. He has contributed in more than 14 research publications in the field of orthopedic surgery. He has also made contributions towards more than 10 post graduate workshops and research work.
Dr. Ijaz Amin earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Quaid-e-Azam Medical College, Bahawalpur in 1984. He also attended University of The Punjab, Lahore, as orthopedic scholar, receiving Master of Surgery (Orthopedic) in the year 1997.
Dr. Ijaz Amin also served as Senior Registrar at A & E Department of Lahore General Hospital. Over the past 17 years, he has served as Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon at Amin Medical Complex. Academically, he is engaged as Professor of Surgery at Sialkot College of Physical Therapy since 2012. A well-renowned personality who has distinguished himself as prominent scholar, educationist, academic leader, and orthopedic surgeon.
Dr. Wajida Perveen is a well-known Physical Therapist in PAKISTAN with diverse experiences as academician, clinician, administrator and a researcher who have served in Public & Private sector Academic Institutions, NGO’s and Private Healthcare providers.
She has a range of professional experience in Musculoskeletal and Pediatrics Rehabilitation. Her professional education includes Bachelors in Physiotherapy from King Edward Medical College (2000), t-DPT from KEMU Lahore (2013), (MS-OMPT) from Riphah International University, Pakistan in 2015. Currently she is PhD scholar at University of Lahore, Pakistan.
Her carrier is further supported by Team Physician Course by Asian Federation of Sports Medicine (AKUH, 2004), Certification in Hospital and Health Care Management (NUST, 2010), Certification in BOTOX 2015, (CRCP) Clinical Research Certified Professional (DUHS, 2016), (IPPCR) Introduction to Principles and Practice of Clinical Research (NIH USA 2016-17), Certificate in Medical Teaching 2017 (University of Health Sciences Lahore & University of Liverpool) Certificate in Medical editing (UHS Lahore), certified Mulligan Practitioner and Responsible Conduct of research, research Integrity Course (Utrecht University, Netherland). She is not only an eminent scholar but a reviewer and member editorial boards in many national and international journals. She has several reputable publications in National and International Journals and conferences.
She is member of various international organizations including but not limited to Environmental Physical Therapy, International Society for Physiotherapy Journal Editors and Physiotherapy Research Society UK.
Since 2012, she is serving as Head of Physical Therapy Department at Sialkot College of Physical Therapy, Sialkot Pakistan.
Dr. Yasmeen Masood is the CEO at Amin Welfare & Teaching Hospital for the last six years. She made valuable contributions in developing the curricula of Bachelor program of DPT Physiotherapy.
She did her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Fatima Jinnah Medical College, Lahore in 1978. She initially served as a medical officer at Gynecology Department of Ittefaq Hospital (Trust) Lahore for five years
She moved to Dera Ghazi Khan in 1993 to serve as a gynecologist at Chemical Plant Complex (CPC) of Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission (PAEC). She continued to serve there for 13 years when she was transferred to PAEC General Hospital, Islamabad in 2006 as DMS in recognition of her distinguished services at CPC. She was working as a DCMO when she retired from PAEC General Hospital in 2014 after valued contribution of 8 years in the hospital administration.
She is associated with Amin Teaching and Welfare Hospital since 2015 and is actively involved in the teaching program of DPT Physiotherapy, guiding the students to graduate with astounding grades under her dynamic influence as an educationalist
Currently engaged as Assistant Professor/Managing Director, Mr. Arqam Abdul Moqeet, has done Electrical Engineering major in power, from University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore through NFC IEFR, Faisalabad. His final year project titled, “Design and Fabrication of Wind Turbine”. He has also earned Master of Business Administration (Executive) with major in Human Resource Management.
After completing his education, he joined SCPT in April 2014, as managing director and handled all administrative matters such as career management, upgrading of managerial, technical and documentation tasks.
He initiated and supervised various programs at SCPT including bachelors in information technology, bachelors in computer sciences, bachelors in business administration, and master in science (information technology). In addition to handing administrative matters of the college, he has also made contributions in the college by teaching specialized subjects like entrepreneurship, project management, principles of management, human resource management and brand management.
In order to apply his business knowledge, he has launched different projects such as gym, swimming pool, import and selling of vehicles, and fast food restaurant which are now operating successfully.
Mr Wajid Ali is M.Phil in Information Technology form University of Lahore. He did his graduation from University of Gujrat in 2014. He also taught in Govt. Allama Iqbal post graduate college in the span of 2016 - 2018. After the degree he join some of the software houses in Islamabad and Texila and now he is performing his duties as Head of Department of CS and IT at SCPT.
